Clean Water Initiative
Here at the Mwanganza Orphanage, located in Kindu, we strive to provide a safe and nurturing home for children in need. However, we know that the challenges faced by the community extend far beyond the walls of our home. One of the most pressing issues in the Congo is the clean water crisis. Access to clean, safe water is a basic human right, yet it is a luxury for many communities in the Congo. We are on a mission to combat this crisis by building water wells throughout the region. Our goal is to build water wells every 3-5 miles for the community so that every household can have access to clean tap water. This is not an easy task, but it is a necessary one. The lack of clean water has led to widespread illness and disease, particularly among children. By providing clean water, we can help prevent illness, improve hygiene, and ultimately save lives. We believe that this mission is not only important, but it is achievable. With the help of generous donors and dedicated volunteers, we have already made significant progress. However, we still have a long way to go. Join us in our efforts to provide clean water to the children of Kindu. Your support can help us make a real difference in the lives of children and families in need. Together, we can build a brighter future for the Congo.
